With a varied resume including the early Baroque repertoire, contemporary opera, and musical theatre, Ms. Faircloth has directed and assistant directed for such companies as Dallas Opera, Central City Opera, Utah Opera, Tulsa Opera, Amarillo Opera, Mercury Baroque and Ars Lyrica Houston.  During the summer of 2006, Ms. Faircloth was in San Francisco, where she was selected for the single directing apprenticeship at the Merola Opera Program, a training program for emerging young professionals under the auspices of San Francisco Opera.  In addition to assistant directing shows for the Atlanta Opera and Houston Grand Opera, Ms. Faircloth’s 2008-2009 season includes five major directing projects:  Hansel & Gretel (mainstage and tour) for Tulsa Opera, To Life! To Love! Etc! (tour) for Utah Opera, and a brand new production of Holst’s Savitri,  and the Miller Theatre production of Rigoletto for Houston Grand Opera.
